Brilliant product, fantastic quality, look like genuine tiles. Really good thickness and lovely textured feel. Easily wipable and the colour is gorgeous. Opted to add sealant where the tiles meet the sink to product the bottom border from water damage (use a water based/acrylic sealant as I believe other chemicals will damage the vinyl). Fantastic customer service from TradedownCo, had a query about my order and received a response so quickly. So happy with the results, highly recommend!
"Bought this product to finish off a counter, tiles stuck on well, finish of it looked great."
"These tiles feel genuinely well made and the colour is great. They have some weight to them and actually look like genuine tiles. Pretty much what you see online is exactly what you get in person. The adhesive is strong so will stay on the wall and easy to put on. Just make sure to measure the space when you put it on. Will look at other variants and will be sure to look at these in future renovations."
"These peel-and-stick tiles are excellent quality and very easy to install. The shades of green are true to the photos shown, and the subtle mix of green tones makes the tile feel premium."
"Really easy to apply and it looks great. I am not a DIYer but the finish looks so professional and has elevated my kitchen. It works so well against white walls, walnut kitchen cupboards and black kitchen appliances. They were stuck on against existing tiles and are holding firm."
"I was initially anxious about my first DIY tile project, but these were so easy to apply. The Verd Green color is deep and rich, featuring beautiful shades of green which you can see on each tile chip. What I love is that they also visually transform in the light, as you can see in these pictures I took"
"I've used peel & stick tiles for numerous temporary projects in the past with varying degrees of success regarding their look, whether they are obviously faux, rising to fairly convincing.
These self-adhesive sheets fall somewhere above obviously fake but fall short of passing for real when examined up close, and that's ok.
I wanted to try these for the end panels of older 'inherited' kitchen floor cabinets to give a little interest and design.
A pack of 10 12" x 12" was ideal to cover 2 ends with a few off-cuts left over.
The tiles were super easy to stick, and you can readjust them if needed.
Easy to cut with sharp scissors.
On the 'verdant green' colour varient the grout colour is similar to the tile, rather than a white contrast.
This multi-tonal darker green looks great against natural mid-darker wood cabinets. *tricky to photograph accurately but I've noted the truest example in my collage pic.
There's tiny text on the outer 'grout' lines to show were to overlap to create the neat seemless look. Helpful.
Clear plastic front to peel off.
Wipe clean.
Not recommended for next to a heat source such as a hob.
Really like the finished look of these, of course close up they are perhaps less convincing, but at distance they could potentially pass for ceramic tile."
"These look realistic and reflect light in a way which gives them the impression I've a good quality glazed tile.
The adhesive is also good and sticks well on the few surfaces I've tried.
My only complaint is that I had two of my sheets that had printing errors where the raised "glazed" area of the tile had spilled over into the "grouted area" this isn't a huge problem for me as I can use these bits for cuts at the edges.
I have circled these errors in red in the last photo"
"These TradeDownCo Peel & Stick Wall Tiles are really good.
Each pack contains 10 lightweight vinyl tiles measuring 12 x 12 inches (30 x 30 cm), which is a really decent size. They are also made of a malleable material, so you can cut them down or to the size that you want, which is really useful.
They have a nice contemporary design, and I have the Verdant Green colour, which is lovely, especially as it has a glossy finish. They look realistic and of good quality in my opinion. The pattern is Morroccan, and with varied tones of colour, it gives the tiles a look of depth, which I like.
Why I was particularly interested in these tiles above others is because, apart from them being vinyl and waterproof, the supplier states they are heat resistant, oil resistant, peel and stick, removable, and scratch resistant. This is great because it gives you real flexibility with where you use them. I wanted them for the kitchen and for behind the cooker and am relieved I don't have to worry about them, knowing these relevant features above, as it does give me more peace of mind.
I looked into the best places for applying them and the supplier states The TradeDownCo Peel & Stick Wall Tiles work best on smooth, clean, and dry surfaces. Ideal surfaces include: . Painted drywall (fully cured • Ceramic or porcelain tiles • Glass Metal • Laminate surfaces • Smooth plaster Avoid these surfaces Textured or rough walls • Freshly painted surfaces (wait 30 days) • Wallpaper or fabric surfaces • Unprimed drywall
The vinyl material adheres best when the surface is completelv clean and free from dust, arease, or moisture.
They do also advise where to avoid placement which is helpful and worth looking at.
For the best adhesion and longest-lasting results you can follow simple preparation steps which anybody can do : Clean thoroughly:
• Remove all dirt, grease, soap residue, and dust • Use a degreasing cleaner (like sugar soap) for kitchen areas
• Wipe down with a damp cloth and allow to fully dry
Check surface condition:
• Fill any holes or cracks with filler and sand smooth
• Ensure paint is fully cured (wait 30 days after painting)
• Lightly sand glossy surfaces to create better adhesion
Final prep:
• Wipe with rubbing alcohol or white vinegar to remove any remaining residue
• Allow surface to dry completely (moisture prevents proper bonding
• Test adhesion with one tile in an inconspicuous area first
The vinyl material bonds best at room
temperature (18-24%C) avoid installation in very cold conditions.
Then you just have the application process which is again a simple step by step
Planning & Measuring:
1. Measure your wall area and plan tile layout startina from the centre
2. Mark guidelines with a level and pencil for straight rows
Installation Process:
1. Start from bottom centre - Find the lowest centre point of your wall
2. Peel carefully - Remove backing paper slowly to avoid air bubbles
3. Position and press - Place tile at your starting point and press from centre outward
4. Smooth firmly - Use a smoothing tool or cloth to ensure full adhesion
5. Work systematically - Install tiles row by row maintaining alignment
6. Press edges - Pay extra attention to corners and edges for secure bonding
So, as you can see, it is simple, but I think following this or checking that you are at least applying them to the correct surface will give you longevity with them. I think they are good value, and there are various colours, which is nice. Being that they are stick-on tiles, it means that it is more manageable to do yourself at home and lighter than needing a tiler, which is all a lot more additional cost. These are easier to change when you fancy a different colour, so these are all positive features for me."
Fabulous colour very rich in green tones and worked well with my oak surface tops!
"Great tiles! Very easy to stick on the wall and look amazing!"
"I had a large, old acrylic splashback behind my kitchen sink which was completely stained with limescale, scratched all over, and full of cracks, so I decided to use these self-adhesive vinyl tiles in "Verdant Green" to cover up the mess. The overall transformation is really lovely, and it gives the kitchen a very nice, modern finish at an affordable price level. The packaging comes with ten lightweight twelve-by-twelve-inch tiles, and cutting them to size as well as installing them was super-easy since you do not need any grout or specialist tools. They adhere firmly to the old surface, and because they are waterproof and heat-resistant, they seem perfect for a high-moisture area right behind the sink. While the tiles are thin enough to make cutting around the tap and corners a simple task, they are actually so thin that you can slightly feel the ridges of the deeper cracks underneath if you press hard on them. The "Verdant Green" colour is a very good shade, but the gloss finish does show up greasy fingerprints quite easily, meaning it requires frequent wiping to keep it looking pristine. There were also a couple of tiles at the bottom of the pack where the self-adhesive backing paper was a bit tricky to peel off without tearing. Despite these minor issues, it is a fantastic, cost-effective solution for a quick DIY project and it has successfully hidden a major eyesore in our home."
"Lovely and thick. Glossy. Quick delivery. Thick but can still cut with sharp scissors."
"Ordered a 10 pack of these green tiles to give our kitchen a facelift over our existing tiles. Easy to cut and easy to clean. Getting compliments especially when the light hits them"
"Am so happy I saw these and ordered them as they looked just the right collection of greens for a table I was upcycling.
I used these on the table top surface with the rest of the wood having been sanded and stained black and it looks absolutely gorgeous and matches perfectly with the other deep green tones we have in accents and soft furnishings ion the dining room. Looks great!
They're really decent quality too with a nice finish and tons better than other faux tiles I have tried in the past.
Good value for how many you get and really easy to use so would fully recommend as super happy with them."
