Will the tiles damage my walls when I remove them?
Our tiles are designed to be removed cleanly. For best results, peel slowly at a low angle and warm the tile slightly with a hairdryer if needed. They come off particularly well from existing tiled surfaces. As with any adhesive product, we recommend testing a small area first if you're unsure about your wall type.
How many tiles do I need for my space?
Each tile measures 30×30cm (12×12in). For a standard kitchen splashback (roughly 60cm wide × 30cm tall) you'd need around 2 tiles. For a larger area, measure the width × height in centimetres, divide by 900, and round up — then add 10% for any cuts. If you're unsure, drop us a message and we'll help you calculate.
Are they actually waterproof — can I use them near a sink or bath?
Yes — fully waterproof and built for kitchens and bathrooms. They handle everyday moisture, steam and splashes without warping, bubbling or discolouring. We'd recommend avoiding prolonged direct shower spray, but for splashbacks, wet room walls and around basins they perform perfectly.
What surfaces can I stick them to?
They work on any smooth, clean, dry surface — painted walls, existing tiles, glass, MDF and most bathroom wall panels. Avoid textured or rough surfaces. If you've recently painted the wall, wait at least 4 weeks before applying to ensure the paint has fully cured.
How long will they stay up?
A long time — many of our customers have had theirs up for several years before choosing to redecorate. When applied correctly to a clean, dry surface they bond strongly and won't peel or sag. We're confident in a minimum of five years with proper application, and they remain removable whenever you're ready for a change.
